ロボット操縦者を夢見ていた中村巧（たくみ）は、過去に自分を怪獣から救ってくれたロボット・「ヘルメス」のパイロットに選ばれる。
念願が叶い意気揚々とヘルメスの整備をするのも束の間、巧の前に怪獣が現れる。
そこで迎撃のため、ヘルメスを起動し発進しようとするが…ヘルメスの様子が何やらおかしい。

「怪獣怪獣って、都合のいいロボット扱いしないでよ!」

まさかの反応に固まる巧。なんとヘルメスは、知らぬ間に「メンヘラ」になっていた…!!
火花を散らしながら手首を切り始めるヘルメス。果たして巧は「彼女」と共に怪獣を倒すことが出来るのか!?
いやそもそも出撃できるのか!?前代未聞のラブコメが今開戦!!
